A new event, Food Truck Tuesday, kicked off last week with a BANG at Second Harvest Food Bank’s Metro Center location. The event was created to provide a one-stop weekly parking lot for the food trucks to do business this summer, as well as providing a cool retreat for the patrons inside Second Harvest’s Culinary Arts Center.

The food trucks donate 10% of all sales to the Food Bank to help fight hunger and feed hope in Middle and West Tennessee. Last week’s event alone helped provide 660 meals to hungry people. Learn more about Second Harvest.
*Good Tip: Arrive early, the word on the street is that the food trucks started running out of food around 12:30pm last week.
